Our estimated savings show you what we can realistically save you despite your past purchases with RIs and savings plans. We calculate your current coverage and estimate how much you could save further with Dotted.

We are soon rolling out another category called 'past savings' which should further make this intuitive.

### Your actual savings

This is the amount Dotted has actually saved you in total vs your historical baseline AWS spending once you have joined. This number will usually increase over time as we better understand and adapt to your unique spending profile. It includes all savings created by Dotted only whether for compute or elsewhere.
